Can I print barcodes for products that do not have one?
Yes. The product's SKU is turned into a scannable barcode and printed on a label with the name and price, so loose or repacked goods become scannable at the counter.
What printer do I need for barcode labels?
Labels lay out on standard sticker sheets, so an ordinary printer produces them. The same design also prints on a dedicated label printer if you have one.
Will my printed barcodes scan in the app?
Yes. The code is generated from the SKU the app already knows, so scanning a label you printed resolves straight to that product variant.
